Why did the online program develop?
A few years ago, Brian saw that his students progressed faster when emailed everyday or talked to a few times a week than those who just occassionally showed up at meetings with no daily correspondence. Thus, brian started to email them more frequently.
After a while, Brian realized that he kept on writing and re-writing the same exact responses to the students, several times in fact, and just decided to save the response for future use when the next question arose on the same topic. Then he posted them and made an online lesson plan that the students could access on a daily basis without needing him to start correspondence. This way, they could walk their own pace and access the lessons at will.
What is the difference between reading online lessons or straight out of a book?
What Brian noticed was that a book of Truth typically has a "general intent" set for all who read it to "realize Truth." As beneficial as this may be, it is less laser-like or focused, since it is set for the thousands, and therefore less effective in respect to "transmitting power." So Brian developed the lessons with the intent that just those who read them during the course length would be impacted on a more powerful level, which could be referred to as "specific intent."
The online lessons have an intrinsic power to them that utilize the words to carry It into the field of a being who reads it, which then delivers the impact, whether consciously felt or unconsciously occurring to the deeper levels of being. It is not even that the lessons "bring in the power," but rather have a greater or more focused ability to expose the Self that is already Present in the seeming student.

Online Enlightenment ProgramThe Online Enlightenment Programs (OEPs) provide an opportunity for someone who is sincerely interested in the spiritual path to have direct contact with Brian in a teaching context. Recent developments in technology make this opportunity of direct contact with an enlightened teacher available for those who could not otherwise benefit from such a powerful and potentially transformative relationship.
As described below, there are several program levels available. Each involves the online study course, and direct emailing with Brian regarding your questions, concerns, and unfoldment. Brian personally responds to your emails. Some programs include time to speak with Brian directly on the phone, or by use of free downloadable software. Programs may also include several weekly opportunities to interact with Brian personally while he is teaching, using another free downloadable conferencing software. Beyond these OEPs, retreats are regularly held in Austin , Texas and occasionally at other locations for students, or others who are sincerely interested in meeting with Brian directly in a retreat setting.
Contact with an illumined teacher provides not only a conceptual framework for understanding spiritual evolution, but also a Transmission of Consciousness that gradually, and sometimes suddenly, allows the Truth to be revealed experientially. This is, of course, the true intent of the path. This Transmission is not limited to being in Brian's physical presence, though that is a particularly significant opportunity. This same living Presence of the Self is also transmitted through the teachings. For those on an OEP, this Transmission is also powerfully available through the direct communication of emails, and individual and group online sessions.
Along his own path, Brian has been a researcher of understandings and methods that facilitate more rapid, balanced, and stable spiritual growth. This has continued in process with his students. One of the developments from this research perspective are methods of “clearing”, which are frequently used during individual sessions with Brian, and are a part of programs which include time for speaking with him directly.
During a clearing session, Brian determines the particular levels of your being that are appropriate at the time for further resolution, healing, release, and activation. Then Brian uses intention from the standpoint of Being you in essence as the Self to reveal and activate a higher level of attunement and function.
Why Even Consider Walking the Path?
The idea of being on a path of enlightenment is actually an illusion in itself, but as one spiritually evolves, one will eventually realize oneSelf to just "Be" the Self so that no "attuning" or "clearing" is ever again necessary. Once the individual I-sense is eliminated, there is no "one" left to clear, as well as no "one" left that needs to attune to Truth. The Self is not a "State" or "temporary condition" experienced by a "being," but actually is the "Being" itSelf. Granted, one will go through various transient States of the Self (to some degree), but these experiences are not the endpoint (liberation ----- no egoity or separateness/suffering whatsoever).
Since a "path" has to be practical, there are provided many methods of attunement via the one-on-one teacher/student relationship in addition to the emailings and online discussions. So one has the opportunity to work with a teacher who has already walked the path until the Self reveals to the student as their inner-essence (at least in the beginning stages of enlightenment). At that time, one has now found their own "guide" that is their own teacher.

About the Online Program
In what way does it help?
Designed to help the student progress through the various levels of lower egoity, through the higher egoity and into the initial stages of enlightenment, which can best be described as the "illumination phase."
After the many stages of enlightenment are transcended, one's residual "I-thought" (ego) is exposed for all that it is and then completely falls away as the Supreme is unveiled (liberation).
